Monologue

Dr. Wallach starts the show discussing medical errors involving drugs. Outlining some of the statistics of how many Americans are harmed every year. Contending that many errors are due to doctors prescribing drugs that interact negatively with other drugs. Also asserting that if the doctor doesn't make a mistake it's possible for the pharmacist to manke an error either in dosage or compounding.

Pearls of Wisdom

Doug Winfrey and Dr. Wallach discuss a news article regarding the outbreak of meningitis. To date 26 people have been sickened in five states with four dying. These deaths have been attributed a non-contagious fungal form of meningitits. Coming from injectable steroids to treat pain and inflammation.
