“person of interest” (marina man) 01/17/13 8:30a.m. TDH

Authorities have identified a “person of interest” in the case that caused the 1st ever silver alert to be issued in California.  The new silver alert system is deployed when an at-risk adult is reported missing, and is modeled after the amber alert system.    67-year-old marina resident Raymond smith was reported missing December 30th, and still has not been located.  41-year-old michelle love, (who is smith’s former caregiver), has been named a “person of interest,” but she is not considered a suspect.  Marina police believe love might have had contact with smith shortly before (or even after) he was reported missing.
