THE  CALIFORNIA  PUBLIC  UTILITIES  COMMISSION HAS  APPROVED  CAL-AM’S APPLICATION  TO  BUY  THE  GARRAPATA  WATER  SYSTEM.    THE  SYSTEM  INCLUDES  ABOUT  50  NEW  SERVICE  CONNECTIONS.   CAL-AM SAYS  THEY  DON’T  EXPECT  TO  RAISE  THE  RATES  FOR  GARRAPATA’S CUSTOMERS….AT  LEAST  NOT  UNTIL  THE  NEXT  RATE  CASE  IN  2015.
