Doug Winfrey and Dr. Wallach discuss a news article that outlines four specific "bad eating" habits.  Unfortunately, in the entire article there is no mention of "pica or cribbing" the basic root causes of over-eating.  Doc asserts that bad eating habits are symptoms of greater problem that is mineral deficiencies.

Dr. Wallach starts the show discussing the life expectancy of doctors.  According to the AMA doctors live to an average age of 56 while their patients average age is now up to age 76.  With the doctors dying from the same disease states they are trying to cure in their patients.  Doc recommends that people educate themselves and become their own "health advocate".

Doug Winfrey and Dr. Wallach discuss three different stories involving doctors in the news.  Doctors in New Zealand lost a man's dentures during a back operation only to find the teeth lodged in his throat 4 days after the surgery.  A doctor in California has been reprimanded for implanting silicone breast in 4 women before the implants were approved by the FDA.  A Nevada doctors was also reprimanded for failing to diagnosed colon cancer in a patient that later died of the disease.

Doug Winfrey and Dr. Wallach discuss two recent news articles the first concerns the misdiagnosis of breast cancer in a New York woman.  The woman was told she had breast cancer and underwent a radical double mastectomy.  She later found out that she never had cancer and her biopsy had been mislabeled.
