Dr. Wallach starts today's show discussing the wonderful health benefits of chocolate.  Outlining the various healthy compounds found in chocolate.  Recommending Youngevity's "Cocogevity" as a great way to get the healthy compounds found in chocolate along with other great antioxidants.

Doug Winfrey and Dr. Wallach discuss a news article concerning a woman who recently had a hysterectomy.  Due a mistake by her doctor what should have been a one week recovery has now turned into months and thousands of dollars in bills and lost wages.  She is also now facing a fifth surgery to correct the doctor's mistake but she doesn't want to sue because he's "a nice guy".

Dr. Wallach starts todays show discussing two recent research studies.  The first found that among the 19 countries studied the U.S. ranked last in preventing deaths through timely medical intervention.  The second study concluded that people who eat fruits and vegatables can extend their lifespan up to 14 years.

Pearls of Wisdom

Doug Winfrey and Dr. Wallach discuss a news article concerning the use of "placebos".  The study found that of doctors surveyed 45% often prescribed placebos in their clinical practice.  Of those that do prescribe these "dummy pills" 20% said the outright lied to patients telling them they actually getting drugs.
