Doug Winfrey and Dr. Wallach discuss a news article regarding a study from Australia. Researchers gave sciatica patients either a placebo or the pain killer pregabalin (Lyrica). After eight weeks researchers found that the placebo did as well at reducing pain as the drug. Meaning doctors should stop prescribing it for sciatica patients.
