Dr. Joel Wallach

A biomedical research pioneer, Dr. Joel D. Wallach spent more than 40 years in the field of Veterinary Medicine, observing and researching the effects of individual nutrients on animal health, before becoming a Naturopathic Physician in 1982. Today, Dr. Wallach is renowned for his groundbreaking research on the health benefits of selenium and other minerals. He currently dedicates his time to lecturing throughout the world on the therapeutic benefits of vitamins and minerals, and on lobbying the U.S. Food and Drug Administration on behalf of the dietary supplement industry.

Stating that the medical system has failed us with medical mistakes being the number three leading cause of death in the U.S.

Doug Winfrey and Dr. Wallach discuss a news article concerning the case of a five year old girl who died of an asthma attack. She went to Dr. Joanne Rowe and was turned away because she was four minutes late to her appointment. All the while Dr. Rowe knew the girl was at risk of another life-threatening asthma attack. She also didn't even asks the mother about the girl's symptoms. Her punishment was a six month paid suspension by a secret disciplinary panel.

But contending they used to be in our soils as a result of rivers flooding valley basins. Once countries started building dams on major water ways flood control stopped the flooding of valley basins. Asserting this is why it is necessary for people to supplement their diets.

The small study found that people who suffered anxiety or panic attacks were deficient in vitamin B6 and iron compared to healthy people. Over use can lead to life threatening problems such as gastrointestinal bleeding or heart attack. Authors of the study contend that because these drugs are sold over the counter at even gas station the perception is they are safe.

The reason is to control the patients so they can get by with less staff to save money.
