Dr. Joel Wallach

A biomedical research pioneer, Dr. Joel D. Wallach spent more than 40 years in the field of Veterinary Medicine, observing and researching the effects of individual nutrients on animal health, before becoming a Naturopathic Physician in 1982. Today, Dr. Wallach is renowned for his groundbreaking research on the health benefits of selenium and other minerals. He currently dedicates his time to lecturing throughout the world on the therapeutic benefits of vitamins and minerals, and on lobbying the U.S. Food and Drug Administration on behalf of the dietary supplement industry.

Dr. Wallach has been appearing recently with George Noory on Coast to Coast AM.

Outlining several common health challenges stating these can be reversed. Asserting that most of these health challenges are due to nutritional deficiencies.

Doug Winfrey and Dr. Wallach discuss a small study of energy drinks. Researchers from the Natural Resources Defense Council found that drinking several energy drinks increases the risk of heart problems. Also discussing a study that found that many community water systems the tap water is in violation of federal law. Affecting 77 million people in the U.S. in 2015.

The money is to be spent on pre-existing health conditions in President Trump's healthcare bill set forth to replace Obamacare. Doc outlines several health challenges that are considered to be pre-existing conditions. Stating that most of these are caused by nutritional deficiencies and can be reversed.

Doug Winfrey and Dr. Wallach discuss a news article concerning a study from Harvard University. The study found a 15% increased risk of heart disease in people on a gluten free diet. Doc disagrees with the study contending that it didn't take into account the lack of nutriition involved. Stating that he is certain the people in the study were not taking the 90 essential nutrients.

Dr. Joel Wallach begins the show today discussing the invention of electric hair clippers. Stating once they were on the market people stopped going to the barber. Using the electric hair fathers and mothers clipped their children's hair. Wives trimmed their husbands hair basically "do-it-yourself" hair cutting. Asserting people should take the same approach to their healthcare. Stating most tests done in a doctors office can be done safely and effectively at home.

Doug Winfrey and Dr. Wallach begin the show discussing a news article about insurance fraud. A California couple along with doctors and pharmacist bilked insurance companies out of $40 million in four years. Tanya Moreland King and Christopher King recruited doctors to prescribe assorted creams. Pharmacists then dispensed these non-FDA approve creams that had no known medical benefits. Buying the creams for $15 to $40 per tube. They then billed patients workers compensation insurance carriers $250 and $700 dollars per tube.

But contending they used to be in our soils as a result of rivers flooding valley basins. Once countries started building dams on major water ways flood control stopped the flooding of valley basins. Asserting this is why it is necessary for people to supplement their diets.

Doug Winfrey and Dr. Wallach discuss a Japanese study of nutritional deficiencies. The small study found that people who suffered anxiety or panic attacks were deficient in vitamin B6 and iron compared to healthy people. Doc asserts that all 90 essential nutrients are necessary for proper brain health.
