Monologue

Dr. Wallach starts the show today discussing the recent storms in the southern and midwest regions of the country.  Asserting that all of the damage from flooding and winds are stressing local economies.  He contends that this in turn could put people working for cities, counties and states out of work.  Doc then outlines how multiple income streams are a very good idea during difficult ecomomic times.

Pearls of Wisdom

Doug Winfrey and Dr. Wallach discuss a research study from New Zealand on the use of aceteminophen in children.  The study of over 200,000 children under the age of one in 31 countries found a link between aceteminophen increased the risk of asthma and allergies.  Those getting the pain reliever before age one were 46% more likely to develop nasal allergies and asthma.
