Listening 2 the saturday special on smart meters with Joshua from last week but this time they brought in a guy who wrote a book about climate gate and rt off the bat Joshua goes on with how wrong it is that people like Brian are telling people that its not an issue and thats just so bad, sounded like he was actually going 2 call him a "Denier" lol. So far Brian is eating his lunch with facts. Its so funny 2 becuz Joshau and Brian totally agree on the smaret meter thing but 4 totally diff reasons. Anyways I really wish this site had more of a forum 4 conversations like this, nothin much seems 2 happen in this 4mat.

just caught the last 1/2 hr of the saturday special 2day and from what I heard it sounded like the guest was a typical greeny who was more interested in the speculation that we might get cancer and die then what most people I've talkd 2 worry about, more loss of privacy and decision making. and in keeping w/ the "type" he had a just didnt get the very valid point in Kay's commentary responding with the juvinille responce "Well we should remember that we stold this land from the native Americans so we should have more compassion 2 others..." (not an EXACT quote but close) These people dont have a clue about the complexity of the issue AND they typically say the things that u hear bout the direction obama is taking us are just scare tactics but then they wanna sell u scare tactics bout radio waves and rising sea levels ?? Pleeeeeze !!

Out of all the places that I go to all over the net to participate in everything from friendly discussions to heated debates about the current state of affairs in American politics theres no place I'd rather call home then right here at KSCO. This seems like a really good start and a huge improvement from what we had before so I look forward to gettn to know some of the local listeners and hopefully this will at some point be the 1st place to go when it comes to the topic of the day.
