Monologue

Dr. Wallach starts the show today discussing the rising oil prices.  He then outlines several methods for conserving fuel when driving.  Also describing some of the ways that having a home-based business through Youngevity can create additional income streams.

Pearls of Wisdom

Doug Winfrey and Dr. Wallach discuss recent research that found adding nutrients to the diets of lab gerbils boosted cogintive abilities.  After just 4 weeks on a diet supplemented with choline, uridine monophosphate and DHA (docosahexaenoic acid) the gerbils improved their ability to navigate mazes and had more brain synapse activity.  Thus supporting the theory that nutrition can boost congnitive abilities.
