Dr. Wallach starts the show discuss the possible impending recession.  Mentioning that as he drives down his street he sees cars, boats, RV's and trucks for sale in front of houses.  A sign that people are having trouble making payments because of the poor economy.  Doc asserts that many people can benefit from a home-based business as a supplemental income stream.

Doug Winfrey and Dr. Wallach discuss a new study from Australia concerning diabetes.  The study claims that stomach banding could be a possible cure for type II diabetes.  Simply because of weight loss and an assumed idea that weight gain and obestiy actually cause diabetes.
