Dr. Wallach starts the show discussing a recent report about falling cancer rates.  The report attributes the drop in an increase in cancer screenings and tests.  Doc disagrees attributing the drop in cancer rates to an increase the use of antioxidants such as selenium.

Doug Winfrey and Dr. Wallach discuss a report that indicates that those on Medicare getting prescriptions through private insurers are paying more for prescriptions.  The report found that had the private insurers gotten better rebates and prices taxpayers and Medicare patients could have saved almost $15 billion on 2007.
