Monologue

Dr. Wallach starts the show discussing the fact that many areas of the U.S. are experiencing triple digit temperatures.  Asserting the importance of staying properly hydrated.  Contending that water alone is not enough to replace the soup of nutrients that are lost through sweating.  Recommending one ounce of Yougevity's "Rebound FX" product in one quart of water as a good method of staying properly hydrated.

Pearls of Wisdom

Doug Winfrey and Dr. Wallach disucss a news story concerning "wrong-site" surgery.  An 86 year old Rhode Island man went in to have blood removed from from the left side of his brain.  Unfortunately the surgeon operated on the other side of his brain.  According to the Archives of Surgery some 1300 to 2700 "wrong-site" surgeries occur each year.  In Pennsylvania alone this happens on average once a week.
