Dr. Wallach discusses all the the recent research concerning the health benefits of chocolate.  Outlining the various antioxidant qualities and chocolate's ability to increase blood flow to the brain.

Pearls of Wisdom

Doug Winfrey and Dr. Wallach discuss a couple of recent news articles concerning the drug maker Merck & Co.  The wonderful people who brought the world Vioxx and who more recently were aggressively seeking to have their new vaccine Gardasil made manditory for girls ages 9 and up in public schools.  Now the company has backed off of it's aggresive lobbying because it came to light that some political leaders such as Texas Governor Rick Perry were given campaign donations and owned stock in Merck.  Governor Perry took a $5000 campaign contribution from Merck and made and executive order to make the Gardasil vaccine manditory in his state.
