Some 57% of cats and dogs are over-weight. One out of every 4 to 5 hundred dogs with get diabetes and one out of every 200 cats. The experts quoted in the article assert that being over-weight causes the disease. While Dr. Wallach asserts that it is because of diet. Outlining the fact that most pet foods these days the main ingredients are rice or corn and that is the problem.
