He explains that differences in diet, lifestyle and nutritional supplementation is the reason why these cultures live long lives. Also asserting that the medical systems approach to health is all wrong.

Doug Winfrey and Dr. Wallach discuss a news story regarding acid reflux drugs. The consumer group "Public Citizen" is petitioning the FDA to put a black box warning on proton pump inhibitor drugs. Contending that in some healthy patients the drug is known to actually cause acid reflx. In fact it's been known since 2009 that over two thirds of people taking these drugs fail to meet the diagnostic criteria. This class of drugs has the second highest retail sails in the U.S. and in 2008 totalled $4.8 billion.
