Thank You for Supporting Your Health and Your Local Radio Station!

When current Sheriff Phil Wowak announced his surprise retirement and anointed Jim Heart as his preferred replacement only days before the deadline to enter the race, that did not sit well with everybody. So, the deadline was extended.

With little time to prepare a campaign, two other candidates have entered the race: Bob Pursley and Roger Wildey.

MZ extended an invitation to ALL the candidates to appear on this Saturdays Saturday Special.

So far, candidates Bob Pursley and Roger Wildey have both confirmed.

With far reaching ramifications for the local community, don't miss this opportunity to get to know the people who hope to take the reigns of the Santa Cruz County Sheriffs Department.
