Asserting this is happening because people listened to their doctors and excercised without supplementing. Outlining a study that found knee and hip replacement surgery for pain is worthless. Because it doesn't address the underlying problem of bone loss due to nutritonal deficiencies.

Doug Winfrey and Dr. Wallach discuss a news article regarding a study from the University of Zurich. Researchers linked vitamin D deficiency to ten different common health challenges. Also stating that it is very difficult to get enough vitamin D through the diet. Recommending people should spend time in the sun and to supplement vitamin D.

Dr. Joel Wallach begins the show discussing longevity. Outlining that some cultures have many more people living to be 100 years old that in the U.S. Contending this because these are poor third world cutlures that still put wood ash in their gardens. Asserting that most of the health challenges Americans are suffering are due to mineral deficiencies. Also stating dams are now used to control flooding in low lying areas stating when floods occur silt (minerals) is spread out.

Doug Winfrey and Dr. Wallach discuss a news article regarding sitting for long periods of time. Several recent studies have linked sitting a lot to increased risk of dying from a heart attack or stroke. In one Harvard study found that sitting most of the day increases the risk of dying of a heart attack more than 50%. Now other experts are saying standing can lead to "neck flexion" when the chin is lowered to the chest. They say this can lead to bulging discs, nerve compression and neuropathies.

Stating that all heart disease is due to lack of nutrients in the diet. Asserting the drugs given to heart patients is poison and all have side effects. Contending with proper nutrition many heart conditions can be managed without drugs.

Doug Winfrey and Ben Fuchs discuss a news article on sun screens. A survey from the CDC states that only 14.3% of men and 29.9% of women use sun screens on a regular basis. Outlining the differences between UVA and UVB rays and why everyone should be protecting themselves from the sun. Ben vehemently disagrees contending that the chemicals in sun screens are poison. Stating that if you were to injest a sun screen it would probably kill you.

Dr. Joel Wallach begins the show discussing the different types of pain. Pain from injury, inflammation, headaches and migraines outlining why these exist and some fixes. Explaining that people can use the CM Cream, trauma oil and peppermint oil for injury pain. Also asserting people can use the CM capsules for inflammatory pain.

Doug Winfrey and Dr. Wallach discuss a warning out from the FDA. The agencies Adverse Event Reporting System data base identified 20 cases of diabetic ketoacidosis, ketoacidosis and ketosis in people taking SGLT2 inhibitor diabetic drugs. All of these cases required trips to the emergency room or hospitalization. The drug designed to cause blood sugar to be secreted in the urine. Unfortunately these drugs can cause dangerously high levels of ketones (blood acids).

Dr. Joel Wallach begins the show discussing disgestion and absorbtion. Explaining the these are two different things with digestion being the breakdown of food. Contending the PH of stomach acid should two or less. As the PH gets closer to neutral which is seven yeast begins to grow and ferment causing gas. Asserting that if food isn't broken down enough then there is little to no absorbtion of nutrinets. Leading to a laundry list of diseases and health challenges.

Doug Winfrey and Dr. Wallach discuss a news article concerning gluten free diets. Dieticians interviewed for the article contend that people who don't have celiac disease should not go on a gluten free diet. Because not all people who go gluten free see their symptoms go away. Doc contends that if people don't use nutritional supplements after going gluten free they won't get many benefits.

Dr. Joel Wallach begins the show discussing the eruption of Mt. Saint Helens in the 1980s. Stating the several hundred square miles of Washington state were covered in ash. Contending that in the years following there were record bumper crops. Stating this is because all the ash put into the soil helped the plants produce.

Doug Winfrey and Dr. Wallach discuss a news article regarding a Harvard study. The study found that people who eat high fiber cereal for breakfast every day reduced their risk of death by 19%. Also finding those eating fiber cereals had a 34% reduced risk of dying from diabetes. With a 15% reduced risk of death a cancer death and a 17% lower risk of dying from any cause.
