The Santa Cruz community group “Friends of Lighthouse Field” is scheduled to host a meeting tomorrow(tues), to discuss pet safety. An officer from Santa Cruz County Animal Services Authority is set to be on hand, to give attendees tips on keeping pets and their owners safe during summer months. Refreshments are planned to be served after the discussion, which will also feature state senate candidate John Laird. The community safety meeting is scheduled to be held from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., at the Santa Cruz olice station community room, located at 155 Center Street.
