1 Community Resource Center in Santa Cruz county, and 2 in southern San Mateo county have been opened to help some area residents. They are available to people who’s homes are without power at this time, so they can charge their electronic and medical devices. An ADA-accessible restroom and hand-washing station is also available, as is Wi-Fi, bottled water and snacks. Electronic vehicle charging is not available at this time. These sites are located in Scotts Valley (at the Enterprise Technology Center at 100 Enterprise Way), Pescadero (at Pescadero High School on Butano Cut-Off) and La Honda (at the La Honda Fire Brigade on the 8900 block of La Honda Road). These Community Resource Centers will be open during the daytime.
