If you are involved in a non-injury motor vehicle accident in Salinas, expect to be sent to California’s second collision reporting center, which opened Thursday.
Drivers who get into crashes that do not involve injuries or criminal conduct will be directed to file a report at the new center. After that, drivers will get information about the next steps they need to take.
Salinas police say the center will avoid people having to wait for an officer to respond to the accident scene, thus saving time. The new accident reporting center is located at Salinas City Hall on Lincoln Avenue.
