Although it’s only supposed to be open for commuters wearing masks to use (to bicycle or walk (back and forth to essential businesses)), people have continued use the Monterey Bay Coastal Recreation Trail for leisure purposes. That’s causing some issues because it’s virtually impossible to maintain 6 feet of distance between users of the Trail to begin with. Along with that, the beaches are also being problematic because people are using them for passive uses, along with the allowed active uses.
