The presiding officer of a 3-day meeting last week in santa cruz county has tested positive for Coronavirus. California Coastal Commission Chairman and Chula Vista Councilman Steve Padilla said the symptoms (fever, body aches, headaches, and chills) came on very rapidly last week, causing him to leave early from the series of meetings that were held at the Hilton Santa Cruz Hotel in Scotts Valley. Padilla reports that he has self-isolated himself.
