The Monterey County District Attorney’s Office has announced that they are seeking the Death Penalty for the man they believe kidnapped, and killed, 13 year-old Christina Marie Williams back in 1998. Williams was abducted while walking her dog near her home on the former Fort Ord. Her remains were found about 7 months later. The trial date for Charles Holifield (this time), is set to be scheduled next month, when he returns to a Monterey county court room. Holifield is already serving a sentence of 25 years-to-life for several previous convictions.
