Caltrans officials announced, survey control on 2 ½ miles of State Route 68 (Holman Highway) in both directions from Stuart Avenue to the Scenic Drive Overcrossing, including the Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula (CHOMP) and will return on Wednesday, Oct. 8, Work hours are from 9 am to 2 pm. Motorists can expect delays not to exceed 10 minutes. Roadwork consists of a Mobile Terrestrial Laser Scanning (MTLS) device, driving through both directions of this section of Hwy. 68 at about 40 mph and taking scans of the markings previously done
Electronic message boards are posted to alert motorists. Maintenance crews and the CHP will be on site to help with traffic breaks and worker safety.
