Downtown Santa Cruz will be a hub of climate change tomorrow.
The group “Extinction Rebellion” will be holding a demonstration called “global climate strike” beginning at 2:15 at the Wells Fargo bank on River Street.
Students from all over the county will converge at Wells Fargo to protest the bank’s involvement in the oil industry. They will then march through downtown Santa Cruz to the farmer’s market site on Cedar and Lincoln. There will be music, entertainment and climate teach ins. Anyone is welcome to join in.
