A woman was brought to safety after tumbling 80 feet down a steep hill into Soberanes Creek over the weekend.
The CHP Coastal Division Air Operations found her reportedly lodged under a fallen redwood and suffered major injuries.
While the operation was difficult due to the tall trees, rescuers were able to hoist her up in a basket, and the woman was taken to an area hospital.
