In honor of national pollution prevention week, nine local vehicle service facilities and 19-food service companies were recognized by Santa Cruz city leaders.
Here’s a list of a few of the business’ that received the “clean ocean business award.” They are honored for their efforts to protect our Monterey Bay Sanctuary and the San Lorenzo river by keeping pollutants out of storm drains and sewers.
Day’s Market, Jeffery’s restaurant and Santa Cruz Mountain Brewery are among the recipients of the clean ocean business award.
