A lawsuit filed yesterday by a 21-year old victim claims he was sexually abused by a San Benito County priest. The allegations filed against Father Edward Fitz-Henry, the Diocese of Monterey and the San Juan Bautista Mission in Salinas, allegedly occurred when the victim was 14-years of age. The church, which suspended Fitz Henry when the claims were initially reported last month, received more allegations against Father Fitz-Henry, who joined the Diocese of Monterey, over 2 decades ago.
