LOCAL C-H-P OFFICERS ARE HOLDING A FREE TEEN DRIVER CLASS THIS WEEK. THE CLASS, PART OF THE START SMART PROGRAM, IS DESIGNED AS AN EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITY FOR TEENS AND PARENTS WITH A GOAL TO REDUCE THE NUMBER OF TEENAGE INJURIES AND DEATHS ON THE ROAD. THE INSTRUCTORS WILL FOCUS ON DEFENSIVE DRIVING, TRAFFIC LAWS, AND DUI AWARENESS. THE NEXT WORKSHOP WILL BE HELD ON THURSDAY, JULY 17TH FROM 6:30 TO 8:30P-M AT THE APTOS BRANCH OF THE PUBLIC LIBRARY.
