The California Highway Patrol is offering free driver safety classes next month. Start Smart is intended to help newly licensed teen drivers or those about to be licensed, ages 15 to 19. The class is on November 19th from 6 until 8 PM at the Aptos Branch Library. The second class, Age Well, Drive Smart is a senior driver education class. It will be offered on November 15th, also at the Aptos Branch Library. CHP says the classes always fill up quickly. To reserve your free place, call 831-662-0511.
