A man was arrested by the California Highway Patrol in Santa Cruz last night. 35-year-old Steve Anthony Gallegos was stopped on East Cliff Drive, because his car did not have two license plates. During the stop, the officers saw illegal drugs in his car. Gallegos ran off, but was quickly caught and booked into Santa Cruz County Jail.
