Chowder Cook-Off Raises $100,000      03-06-18    T.A.

(07:45) The Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk and City of Santa Cruz Parks & Recreation Department announced the 37th Annual Santa Cruz Clam Chowder Cook-Off raised a record $100,000 for programs of the Santa Cruz Parks & Recreation Department.    The event has raised nearly $1.49 million for Parks & Recreation since it started in 1981.  Coming in first place for the Professional Boston Clam Chowder was Loulou’s Griddle in the Middle, a Monterey diner, and  Midgley’s Public House, in Stockton, won for Best Professional Manhattan Chowder.
