THE PARENT COMPANY OF THE COMMUNITY HOSPITAL OF THE MONTEREY PENINSULA HAS RECEIVED A $400,000 GRANT FOR HOSPICE CARE. THE COMMUNITY HOSPITAL FOUNDATION RECEIVED THE GRANT FROM THE HOSPICE FOUNDATION. CHOMP PRESIDENT STEVEN PACKER SAYS THE GRANTS ENABLE THE FOUNDATION TO HELP MAKE A CRITICAL DIFFERENCE IN OFFERING END-OF-LIFE CARE. THE FOUNDATION HAS RECEIVED NEARLY 15-MILLION DOLLARS FROM THE HOSPICE GROUP SINCE 1997.
