A man, who owns a Tree Service company in north Monterey county, had his chipper stolen from where it was stored in the Prunedale area. Clay Brown said his Bush Bandit 250 was taken from where he had it stored on a property on Elkhorn Road. Reportedly the thief, or thieves, cut the locks on the gate, backed up to the machine, and drove it away with a truck. On the back of the chipper there is a sticker that says 101st Abn Div; and on the left side tool box (over the tire’s fender), is a Route 66 sticker. Anyone with information on the whereabouts of the stolen chipper is encouraged to contact Clay Brown at (831) 633-3137.
