Free inspections of child car seats will be provided this weekend by Sutter Maternity and Surgery Center. An estimated 46 percent of those seats are used incorrectly and attendees will learn how to use them properly. The event at 2900 Chanticleer Avenue in Santa Cruz is open to the public and runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday. Space is limited and reservations can be made by calling 831-477-2229.
