a santa cruz man has been sentenced to 6 months in custody after pleading no contest to possession of child pornography. 55 year old james pease was arrested in october of last year after santa cruz police officers found numerous illegal images and videos at his belvedere terrace home. a santa cruz county judge ruled that pease could serve his sentence on an electronic monitor, and the felony charge could be dropped to a misdemeanor upon successful completion of a 3 year probation term.
