Salinas residents may be able to raise chickens soon. That’s because city-staffers are drafting an ordinance that would allow people who live in Salinas to raise 4-6 hens. How that would work apartment and condo-dwellers has yet to be determined. City Council members hope to see the draft ordinance in another 4-6 weeks.
