A SANTA CRUZ MAN WHO WAS WANTED FOR SEVERAL CRIMES WAS ARRESTED YESTERDAY IN LIVE OAK ON UNRELATED CHARGES. 30-YEAR-OLD AARON CHAVEZ WAS TAKEN INTO CUSTODY AT 4:30 P.M., ON CHANTICLEER AVENUE. HE HAD BEEN SPOTTED BY DETECTIVES, AND FLED FROM SANTA CRUZ COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPUTIES THAT TRIED TO PULL HIM OVER. AFTER HITTING A DEAD END, CHAVEZ WAS TAKEN INTO CUSTODY FOR D.U.I, CHILD ENDANGERMENT, AND CRIVING WITHOUT A LICENSE. HE HAD BEEN WANTED FOR DRUG POSSESSION CHARGES AND OTHER CRIMES. CHAVEZ WAS BOOKED INTO SANTA CRUZ COUNTY JAIL.
