A 37-year-old woman who was facing allegations of having an affair with an underage student, has had the charges against her dismissed. Tanya thienngern was arrested in 2009, when the allegations surfaced. She denied the accusations. Thienngern was struck by a taxi in san Francisco last September, and was in a coma for several weeks. After checking with her doctors, the Monterey county district attorney has determined that she is unable to face the charges, (due to brain injuries that could be permanent). Thienngern was a teacher at pajaro valley high school.
