THE 85-HUNDRED ACRE PARCEL EXTENDS FROM THE SMALL TOWN OF DAVENPORT, NORTH OF SANTA CRUZ, REACHING 8 MILES INLAND INTO THE REDWOODS. THE PARCEL WHICH WAS THE LARGEST PRIVATELY OWNED PIECE OF LAND IN SANTA CRUZ COUNTY IS NOW PART OF THE STATE PARKS SYSTEM. DURING WEDNESDAY’S MEETING, WHICH IS SET TO RUN FROM 6:30-8:30 P-M AT THE HOTEL PARADOX, 611 OCEAN STREET IN SANTA CRUZ, DISCUSSIONS WILL BE HELD ON USES FOR THE PARK.
