Baby Sensory

Baby Sensory is a set of developmental classes for babies, newborns (!) to 18 months old, and their parents, established in Europe and the Far East and now available in the Silicon Valley – the only classes in California – at The Dance Academy in Cupertino.

The classes – I watched one and it was remarkable – happy babies with happy parents – focus on language, physical development, baby social skills and emotional development through the use of sign language, music, songs, puppets and activities, led by European trained instructors.

Every 4th of July, Mister Mom’s family drives to Gizdich Ranch in the foothills near Watsonville and walks the fields picking plump, juicy strawberries, olallieberries, and boysenberries to take home and share with neighbors.
Gizdich Ranch has a wonderful bakery with fresh fruit pies – apple, raspberry and boysenberry – hand-made healthy sandwiches in the deli kitchen, a fun store and antique shop, picnic tables, and a play area for kids.
