A 12 year old Castroville middle school student is hospitalized in stable condition following a stabbing yesterday morning. Authorities say that the student was stabbed by another 12 year old with a kitchen knife at about 8:30 a.m. The incident was reportedly filmed on social media. The assailant was subdued by a school employee and taken into custody, while the victim was airlifted to a trauma center with life threatening injuries.
