Firefighters from the north Monterey county fire department were able to extinguish a fire at a Castroville business tuesday night. The blaze broke out at 7 p.m., at the ocean mist farms building (on del monte avenue). Firefighters were able to gain access to the inside of the building to fight the flames. No injuries were reported. Fire investigators determined the blaze was sparked by an over-heated conveyor-belt.
