A store clerk in Castroville was shot in the ear yesterday while fleeing a robber. The suspect entered the open Castroville business yesterday evening, and pulled out a revolver. When the suspect demanded money from, the clerk fled the store, and was followed. The thief fired three shots at the fleeing victim, one of which struck him in the right ear. The victim was able to escape, and received medical attention. The suspect is yet to be found.
