A new Monterey County affordable housing development is slated to be unveiled this week. The Sea Garden Apartments in Castroville will hold it’s grand opening at 11 a.m. this Friday at 10-603 Axell Street. The development is said to exceed state standards for green construction. The project features 59-family apartments, a community room, a patio, a playground and a garden. The apartments were built through a partnership between Monterey County and the Community Housing Improvement Systems and Planning Association.
