An SUV collided with 2 motorcycles, killing one rider in Carmel Valley on Saturday. Shortly before 11 a-m emergency personnel responded to reports of an accident near Camp Steffani Road and Highway 16. At the scene first responders found a 54 year old motorcyclist with fatal injuries. A 2nd cyclist was hospitalized in critical condition. The 89 year old driver of the SUV did not appear to have been under the influence of drugs or alcohol at the time of the crash.
