The city of Carmel plans to honor one of its best known residents this week. Festivities will take place Thursday through Sunday in honor of Doris Day’s 96th birthday. Any money raised by the events will go to her charity….which is the Doris Day Animal Foundation. It’s also the 50th anniversary of the last film Day made. Although Day did make an appearance during the inaugural event back in 2014….. The notoriously-private Day hasn’t appeared at the event since then.
