A 68-year old Carmel Valley man was arrested last night on several charges. Monterey County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a vandalism report in an East Carmel Valley Road parking lot at around 11 p.m., and found Kenneth W. Pelton in possession of a loaded gun while under the influence of alcohol. Deputies say Pelton was also found next to a broken glass table that belonged to someone else. He was booked into Monterey County Jail on suspicion of carrying a loaded and concealed firearm and vandalism.
